Emanuel Yakobson has received his first Ph.D. at the Moscow University (1972) and the second one the Weizmann Institute (1978) in melecular genetics of poliovirus and tumor SV40 viruses, respectively. Additional training at the ICRF, UK, London and at the University of California (1980-1985).
